What's new this year? We are so excited for the upcoming season!! Lots of cool stuff in the works... We've had a pretty busy winter "off-season" with the addition of a few new restaurant/wholesale accounts. As a result microgreen production has been the primary focus over the past few months, but (with a little extra help on the farm this year) we are quickly getting the garden planted out with early spring crops. In addition, we've already started some seeds for the summer--tomatoes, pepper, cucumbers & more! Speaking of tomatoes, Titus has been experimenting with season extension techniques in our hoophouse over the winter and so far has been quite successful with tomatoes. If all continues to go well, we should have some cherry tomatoes within the next few weeks! Online Farm Store A question we are frequently asked is, "Where can I buy your produce?". This year, we want to make it easier for our retail customers to get our produce. While we do not plan to run a CSA/subscription this year, you can now order on a as-needed basis in our online Farm Store! No commitment & No membership required! This will allow you to order the specific products you would like, as often as you would like, & as always, they are delivered to your door! (The delivery fee is $5/order and we are currently offering delivery to Greenville, Washington, New Bern, & Beaufort/Morehead City.) Farm Tours/Dinners Another question we get asked a lot is, "Can I come visit your farm?". As much as we would love to have everyone who wants to visit out to the farm, our home & farm are closely intertwined and sit together on a fairly small piece of property. So for privacy and safety reasons we are generally closed to the public. However, this year we plan to open up our home for small group tours/farm dinners. We've got a lot of work to do around this old farmhouse before that happens though, so stay tuned for updates!
