Bowie Woods Garden is a market garden located outside of Ayden, NC. Garden owners, Angela and Titus, are also the founders of Locavore Market. Angela's family has been farming in Pitt County for 5 generations growing mainly row crops and tobacco for much of that time. Titus also experienced the pleasures of agrarian life while growing up on the "other side of the pond" (in England).
Bowie Woods Garden specializes in heirloom and gourmet vegetable varieties. All veggies are sustainably grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. In addition to growing produce, Angela also bakes bread, pies, cakes & more using local and/or organic ingredients.
